Notices for Sunday 20th May

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.  Acts 2 v 1-4.

Welcome to this Morning’s Pentecost Service– The service leader is Simon Quelch. Please join us in the back hall after the service for tea and coffee.

After the service there will be a church family picnic at the country park. The wet weather venue will be the church, but hopefully that will not be needed.

Next Sunday, 27th May, coffee will be available before the service as there is a Fellowship lunch after the service. Roger and Judith’s group and Andy and Rachel’s group are responsible for setting up and clearing away.
