ALSO Car parking space at Church will be limited during the weekend and we are NOT allowed to park in front of the tile shop on Saturday while they are trading.
If you are able-bodied please use Tesco’s car park in order to leave the Church car park free for those people who find walking any distance difficult, for the visitors who are bringing equipment and the teams that are transporting food and ingredients for our meals.
On Saturday afternoon, a fish and chip van will be parked in the four car parking spaces in front of the Church so please allow access for this. Thank you.
The fish and chip van has confirmed its attendance at Fuse for the weekend 14 to 16 October – have you? To guarantee your cod and chips let Helen know you will be there asap.

What is Fuse?
Fuse is a Church weekend to spend quality time together as God’s family here at Fullbridge.
Who can come?
When is it?
Fuse starts on Friday 14th October and continues over the whole weekend until after lunch on Sunday.
What will Fuse be like?
There will be a variety of activities for all ages.
- Richard Brewster will lead teaching for the adults, around the theme of God’s story of salvation. There will be four teaching sessions spread across the weekend, with opportunities for discussion and questions.
- A story with a hero.
- The God who rescues his people.
- The coming of the King.
- Our place in God’s story.
- Wild Child, led by Emma and Ben Carman, will provide teaching for the children and young people also about God’s Big Picture. Emma will lead the Pepper and Mustard+ groups; Ben will work with Salt and there will also be a group for our pre-school children. Each age group will have at least two people supervising and they will be DBS checked.
There will be activities for all ages at Blackwater Leisure Centre on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening promises to provide its own unique brand of Fullbridge entertainment. Plus, there will be opportunities to relax and spend time together.
What about food?
All meals are provided, starting on Friday evening at 6pm with a sit down meal altogether. (There will be a second sitting, by arrangement, for those people who arrive late from work). Saturday breakfast, lunch and evening meal are also provided, with refreshment breaks throughout the day. The weekend will finish after Church on Sunday with a meal altogether.
How much does it cost?
There is no charge for Fuse.

The Bible: God’s story of salvation with Richard Brewster and Wild Child
Fuse is a church weekend for everyone, where we spend quality time together. It begins with a meal on Friday evening and, over the weekend, we will be looking at God’s story of salvation:
- a story with a hero
- the God who rescues his people
- the coming of the King and
- our place in God’s story.
Richard Brewster, the Pastor at Avenue Community Church in Leicester, will lead the teaching for the adults. He and his wife Lilly have two children, Noah and Clara. In his free time, Richard enjoys watching movies, listening to Bruce Springsteen, and cycling.
Wild Child, led by Emma and Ben Carman, will be looking at God’s Big Picture with the children and young people. Ben leads the youth work at Sawyers Church in Brentwood and Emma runs Wild Child. She has partnered Scripture Union to provide holiday clubs and weekends away for children.
