Welcome to our service today at 10.30am.  Our speaker today is Rick Wood and the service leader is Phil Reeve. The theme for this morning’s service is “reconciled” and the reading is Colossians 1 verses 15 – 23.

Before the service prayer meeting- we are moving downstairs from this Sunday to accommodate those who would like to join us for prayer at 10.10am but don’t find the stairs easy.  Please do join us.

If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Richard and Sarah Reynolds will be available.

Andy would appreciate your prayers as he is at Ingaway Church, Basildon this Sunday.

Big pudding quiz for Lilly May’s operation Friday 31st January 7.30pm at Fullbridge. CTiM Prayer meeting, this evening Sunday 26th January, 6:30-7:30pm at Fullbridge Church  We are hosting and leading this joint event as we pray for our community and the opportunities that we have together to share the good news about the Lord Jesus.  Please join us if you can!

Charity Art Evening Saturday 8th February 7pm-9pm at Fullbridge    There is a charity art evening on Saturday 8th February, starting with music and songs from folk at Danbury Mission. Then there will be an opportunity to look at art from Valerie’s art students whilst enjoying cheese and wine. Followed by Valerie talking about the ‘Open the Book’ work and an invitation for people to leave a donation to go to the charity. This event is for you to invite interested family and friends along. Please let Valerie know if you would like to come.

The Oddments Theatre Company will be presenting “The Hiding Place” (Corrie Ten Boom’s story) at Maldon Town Hall on Saturday 8th February at 7.30.  Tickets are £11.40 on line or £13 on the door.

Maldon Soup Monday 27th January at 12.30 at Fullbridge This event gives you an opportunity to hear about and vote for local community projects as well as meet new people.  There is a suggested donation of £5 which will go towards funding community projects.

Men’s weekend at Sizewell Hall : 20-22-March   Please see poster in the rear hall for more details.   The cost is £84, but this should not be an obstacle to someone attending. If you are interested in attending, please speak to Simon or Andy.

Maldon Food Pantry Please put any items for the food pantry in the box in the front entrance hall.  Items required at the moment are  Meals in tins such as pies, beans, biscuits, Weetabix, sugar, tea, coffee, tins of custard,  tins of rice pudding,  tins of fruit, long life milk, tins of tomatoes etc.

Sunday morning children’s activities – On the second Sunday of the month there is a family time together service at 10.30.  On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.
