Welcome to our service today at 10.30am. The service leader is Ross Power and the speaker is Andrew Mugford. Our subject today is “Do not be afraid.”  The reading is Matthew 10 verses 17-33.

Please join us at 10.10 in the upstairs room for prayer.  If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Evelyn and Shirley will be available.

Please join us for tea and coffee in the back hall after the service. Peter, Carolyn and Helen are responsible for tea and coffee today.

Please pray for Simon as he continues his travels around Brazil.

OCC Shoebox appeal There are some leaflets and self-assembly boxes in the back hall.  The boxes are 50p each.  If you would like a woolly hat to put into your box please have a word with Ralph as he has some you can have.  The boxes should be returned to church by next Sunday 17th November.

Tea for Lucy and Paul 24th November at 4.30 This will be a bring and share tea.  Please bring sandwiches, scones cakes etc.

November 14th Lunch Time concert URC 1.00  Emma Besselaar plus friend will be playing a varied programme for cello and piano.

Men’s Sports Quiz
7pm on Sunday 1st December at the new Costa, Fullbridge.  Meet Jimmie Massie, a current basketball player with Baddow Eagles & former assistant to the Virginia Cavaliers national team & hear him talk about sport & faith.

“Left to their own devices – Confident parenting in a world of screens” This event is being run by “Care for the Family,” on the 27th November at Kingsland Church, London Road, Colchester, C03 9DW at 7.30pm – 10pm. 

Maldon Food Pantry Please put any items for the food pantry in the box in the front entrance hall.

Sunday morning children’s activitiesOn the first Sunday of the month there is a family time together service at 10.30.  On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.
