Welcome to this morning’s service – The service leader and speaker today is Andy Mugford. After the service there will be a Fellowship lunch. The two home groups responsible for setting up and clearing away today are Judith and Roger’s and Andy and Rachel’s.
As we have a Fellowship Lunch today, tea and coffee will be available in the back hall before the service. Ann and Roger are responsible for tea and coffee today.
Please join us at 10.10 in the upstairs youth room for prayer before the service. If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Matt and Claire will be available.
Calling All Musicians and Singers The music group would love any musicians or singers to join them in singing a song at the Carol Service on afternoon of 17th December. If you would like to join us, all we ask is that you commit to practising with us after the service today, next Sunday 10th December and on Monday 4th at 7.30pm. Please speak to Rachel or Bertie and we can let you have the music to ‘Prepare Him Room’
CAMEO If you are free on Monday afternoon please join us at 2.00pm for our Christmas CAMEO when the handbell ringers will be performing.
Wanted for the Church Carol Service on 17th December– Mince pies and sausage rolls. Please bring your donations to Church. If you are able to supply sausage rolls (which in the past we have found are very popular) this would be appreciated.
Please remember in your prayers all those who have on-going health problems and those who have been bereaved.

Maldon Vintage Christmas event Thank you to all who turned out to sing and greet people at the event last Thursday – especially in the cold wind and then snow/sleet. Thanks too to the “prayerers” at home – we really valued knowing you were praying for us.
Christmas videos We all know when the big companies think they can start to push Christmas shopping on us because that is when their big budget Christmas adverts appear. There are some Christian videos we ought to be publicising, and most of us have the means to spread these. There are quite a few new ones produced by Christian writers and film makers, but there is one on the Go Chatter website that you need to see. It is called “Meet the Nativity” and is in fact a series of four short stories, with one being released each week of Advent, all of which revolve around 21st century and 1st century Christmases magically colliding. The first is out and concerns the boyfriend, Will, who goes to his girlfriend’s parents for Christmas and doesn’t fit in and… well, you need to watch it. There are three others which look at the three other main characters and the way they all interact with Jesus. They are high quality and worth seeing and sharing, too. You’ll find it at http://gochattervideos.com/meet-the-nativity/ or you can go to the Speak Life Facebook page, like the page and then share the videos with you own Facebook friends. Or do it on Twitter. Or send an e-mail link with your e-mail Christmas greetings (I know that most of you will do some of those!) Video number two is due out on Monday 4 December. Well worth a view and share. Andy.
