Why do you think Jesus asks Peter this question three times?
Why does Jesus respond to each of Peter’s answers with commands to feed and look after his sheep? How might this command be linked to Peter’s love for Jesus?
How should we practically apply this command a) to elders in church? (see 1 Peter 5:1-5) and b) to ourselves?
What is Jesus talking about in v18-19? Why does he talk about this?
In what ways should we “follow Jesus” in our lives? (See Luke 9:23)
Read v24-25 and 20:30-31. What have you learnt from going through John’s gospel? List some ways that you have been challenged and encouraged.
