Welcome to this morning’s communion service  – The service leader today is Paul Gymer.  There will be no children’s groups today.  Due to the service at the Prom, there will be no tea and coffee after today’s  service.

Next Sunday Carolyn Hammond and Julian will be responsible for teas and coffees.  Please join us at 10.10  in the upstairs youth room for  prayer before the service.     

June’s Lock – Up Rota  4th June.  Michael Chambers is responsible for locking up today.

Spring Harvest April 2018  If you are interested in going to Spring Harvest next April Ralph and Gill Springett are holding a meeting at their house on Friday 9th June.  Contact Gill or Ralph for details.

Vinjeru School  Please continue to pray for safety and stamina for Ross and Bertie as they visit the school in Zambia.

June Rowden’s Thanksgiving Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Parish Church Danbury at 1.30pm on Tuesday 6th June- followed by the interment at St John’s.  There is an invitation from the family to meet afterwards at the family home  Westover, Colam Lane, Little Baddow, Chelmsford, CM3 4SZ.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to TEAR Fund.


Question the candidates   You may have noticed that we have a General Election on the 8th June.  If you would like to see our local candidates and hear what they have to say, you will have an opportunity on the Tuesday 6th June at the URC when Mark Ambrose will be chairing a question and answer session.  If you have any questions you would like to put forward please email them to Geoff Vale, as soon as possible, at or ring him on 01621 859059 or, alternatively, you can email

Pentecost Service today, Sunday June 4th, 12-1pm at Prom Park Amphitheatre –   If you are happy to come along with a picnic and linger a-while afterwards that would be great.  Please pray for good weather so that the service can take place.

Café Church Sunday 11th June 4-5pm    Please pray for friends that you might invite to this informal service where the topic will be “Here by Chance?”  Activities will be provided for the children during the service.  It was very encouraging to have guests join us last time.  If you have no guest but would like to come along please do!  We would value helpers to welcome, serve refreshments and work the PA.       

Weekend Away at Vauxhall Farm – Don’t forget that there will be no Sunday Service at Fullbridge on 25th June.  Please put your name on the list in the back hall if you plan to be there on the Sunday.

If you borrow anything from the church please make a note on the list in the kitchen of what you have borrowed when you borrowed it and when you return it.
