Welcome to this morning’s all age service  The speaker and service leader today is Matthew Springett.  Please join us for tea and coffee in the back hall after the service.

Tea and Coffee rota    Carolyn is responsible for tea and coffee today and next week it will be Julian.

Please join us at 10.10  in the upstairs youth room for  prayer before the service.  Everyone is invited especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.

If you would like someone to pray with you after the service today Matthew and Claire Springett will be available.

Upstairs key  The key for the upstairs rooms has been missing for a few weeks.   Can you please check your pockets and bags to see if you have taken it home by mistake.

Magazine Rack There are new issues of the Open Doors and BarnabasAid magazines in the rack.

Weekend Away, 23rd – 25th  June  Please pick up an information leaflet if you plan to be there please add your name, as soon as possible, to the poster in the back hall. For any extra information please speak to Valerie, Ralph or Julian. There will be no service at Fullbridge on the 25th June  instead our service will be held in a marquee on the camp site.  Transport is being organized for those just going on the Sunday.

Home Groups  will be meeting for prayer and communion as follows

The Friday group will be meeting at John and Janet’s home.

Richard and Sarah’s group are meeting at Simon and Judy’s home.

Phil and Carol’s group will be meeting at Ann and Terry’s.

Judith and Roger’s group – to be confirmed.

Cream Tea Saturday 13th May at 3pm – 5pm  – there will be a talk on St Helena’s Hospice and running the 2017 London Marathon complete with photos by CHARLOTTE STEELE (Wendy’s granddaughter)   All donations to St Helena’s Hospice for info. Ring Wendy 07840739733.

If you borrow anything from the church please make a note on the list in the kitchen of when you borrow it and when you return it.

Urgent prayer requests  If you have any urgent prayer requests please contact Michael Chambers.

Nick Carter  (son of Stephen Carter – Vicar of All Saints Maldon)  Nick was involved in a car accident a few weeks ago and suffered a very serious head injury.  He is improving but it is still uncertain as to whether there will be any lasting brain damage.  Please continue to pray that Nick will make a full recovery and also pray for his mum and dad and girlfriend Hannah.

 Sponsored bike ride A few of us from Fullbridge are planning to do a sponsored bike ride on Saturday 3rd June in aid of Hand in Hand and the Daylove Night Shelter in Nairobi. If anyone would like to sponsor us please go to our Justgiving page:

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.

Sunday morning children’s activities

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+  Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
