Tea and Coffee rota  Carolyn and Gavin are responsible for tea and coffee today and next week it will be Julian and Ann.

A Prayer meeting is held in the upstairs youth room every Sunday morning before the service.  Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.  If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Simon and Judy will be available.

Andy Mugford would be grateful for your prayers as he is speaking at Albany Church, Enfield, on Sunday.

Loughborough University (where Nathan Mugford is a student) have their CU events next week, starting on Saturday with ‘Dial a Donut’. This involves students texting in any questions they may have about the Christian faith which are then answered face to face when the CU members deliver a donut to their door.

They then have events running through the whole week with the main event being on Thursday evening. It is a ticketed event where they are going to a posh bar in town to have a meal and a talk which, in previous years, has been the most exciting and encouraging event.

As a Christian Union they would really appreciate Fullbridge’s support through prayer throughout the whole week that
1. CU members would feel really challenged to bring friends along.
2. That there would be a great turn out to each event
3. God will use the Christian in Sport guys who are speaking and helping out with all the events

4. Ultimately that people’s lives will be changed by the holy spirit through the teaching and conversations that take place

The annual Fellowship Meeting – Sunday afternoon 19th March.

  • Vision and Values and other matters.

This is a “not to be missed” time for all who are part of the Fullbridge Family.  We will be talking about our life as a family and by being there you are saying that our spiritual family matters to you.  If you cannot make it please let one of the elders know.

Home Group questions

Read Hebrews 13 v’s 1-17

  1.  Is it really necessary to go through a marriage ceremony when people are living together and are committed to each other, especially as living together is culturally acceptable today?
  2. According to the passage how do leaders lead? What sort of things should we be expecting from them?  How are we called to respond to them?
  3.  In v’s 15 and 16 we are called to offer sacrifices by our words and by our works. Give some examples of how, in today’s world, we can remember to do good by “sharing with others”?  Do you think we have forgotten to do this because we live in a welfare state or because we just love money too much and want to keep it for ourselves?

If you have any notices please let Sheila Little have them by Friday lunch time.

Children’s groups

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+  Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
