Welcome to our service.  The service leader this morning is Simon Quelch and the speaker is Paul Gymer.  Please join us for tea and coffee in the back hall after the service. If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Paul Gymer and Barbara Diaper will be available.

Tea and Coffee rota Rob Lamb and Rob Bennett are responsible for tea and coffee today and next week it will be Julian Gore and Ann Frost.

A Prayer meeting is held in the upstairs youth room every Sunday morning before the service.  Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.

Andy Mugford would be grateful for your prayers as he speaks at  Ranelagh Road Christian Fellowship Felixstowe this morning.

Jam jars   If anyone would like some clean empty jam jars with lids please let Phil Rowden know as soon as possible.

Prayer requests   If you have any urgent prayer requests please email them to Michael Chambers.

Magazine rack There are new issues of the Open Doors and Barnabas Aid magazines in the rack.

Job Club – restarts this week with a new “Steps to employment” course.  Please pray that those who have registered will turn up.

Thurs 19th 7.45pm – the home groups will combine at the church to hear John Murphy talk about his experiences in Iraq

Prayer event Wed 25th – Sat 28th, 10am and 8pm: at Fullbridge except for the Friday morning session (venue to be decided) Themes:

Wed. Deepening our love for God through thanksgiving and repentance,

The annual fellowship meeting will be on Sunday afternoon 19th March

The all-age service on Feb 5th will be a baptismal service.

Men’s outreach evening at Costa 22nd January at 6.00pm.  There will be a General Knowledge Quiz.  Come as a team or join another team and bring money for drinks/snacks.  Also hear from a local business man who is a “legend in his own life time” how taxes, customer service and the Christian faith are all linked.  Please confirm your place or more information with Andrew on 07443397893

As before, it will be great to have teams made of a mix of Fullbridge guys and their guests.


Door to door visitation  Simon and Andrew would value your prayer as they visit homes along and off Market Hill on Wednesday mornings.  They will be dropping off “Good News” papers and making them aware of us as a church being their open-doored neighbour.  Thank-you.

Sofas free to a good home – Shirley Murphy’s friend has a two-seater and a three seater black sofa free to anyone who would like them and can collect from Heybridge Basin. For further info please speak to Shirley.

Home Groups The Home Groups will be meeting this week at the following homes.Wednesday evening group at Richard and Shirley Hornett’s.Shirley’s group will be meeting at Shirley’s.For the other groups please contact your home group leaders.

Questions for Home Groups

  1. In Heb.4.16 the writer says “let us approach the throne” and in 7.19 he speaks of “a better hope … by which we draw near to God.” Read 1 Pet.2.4-5 & 9 and Rev.1.5-6 and think about how Jesus, the great high priest, has enabled us to be priests.
  2. What do you think Psalm 110 is all about?
  3. Read Heb.2.14-18 and 4.14-16. Was the temptation of Jesus real? How does his experience help us?
