This week’s news

Welcome to this morning’s  Communion Service which will be led by Phil Machin.  There will be no tea and coffee after the service today as there will be refreshments after the crib and carol services.

Crib Service at 4.pm There will be no children’s groups this morning.  We would love all the children, mums and dads and friends to join us at the Crib Service this afternoon for an informal and interactive retelling of the Christmas story. If you like dressing up, please come along as a character from the story.   Andy Mugford will be leading this through.

At 6.00pm we will be holding our carol service.  Michael Chambers will be leading this through and Andy Mugford will be the speaker.   Please stay after the service for mince pies and sausage rolls.

Phil and Doreen Blowers would be grateful for your prayers as they take the carol service at Maldon Baptist Church this morning.

On Christmas Day at 10.30pm  there will be a further opportunity to sing Christmas Carols and celebrate Christ’s birth when Terry Frost will be leading and speaking at our Christmas morning service.

A Prayer meeting is held every Sunday morning before the service in the upstairs youth room.  Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.

Church Directory   We are planning to update the church directory soon.  If anyone has changed their email address, phone or mobile number since the last directory was issued in spring 2016, please let Paul Gymer have the updated information.
