Welcome to this morning’s All Age Service The service leader and speaker today is Andy Mugford.

Please join us for tea and coffee in the back hall after the service.  Carolyn Hammond and Gavin Fuller are responsible for teas and coffees this week.  Next week it will be Phil Rowden and Peter Lamb.

Fair trade from Traidcraft  Crafts (some half-price), cards and food. The perfect opportunity to kick start your Christmas shopping. Saturday 12th November, 10am – 1pm, Maldon URC School rooms.

A Prayer meeting is held every Sunday morning before the service in the upstairs youth room.  Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.  If you would like someone to pray with you after the service this morning Andy and Rachel Mugford will be available.

Ladies’ Night Out Sunday 20th November 6-8pm at Costa, Maldon

Come and buy a coffee and sample free cake.  Enjoy some table top challenges and hear a local mum talk about her journey of faith through cancer.  To confirm your place ring Rachel on 07443630697

Magazine Rack There is a new issue of the Open Doors magazine in the rack.  Please take and read the magazines to keep up to date with what is happening to Christians worldwide.

Essex Counties Support Group Report Meeting Friday 11th November at BREC Chelmsford.  7.45pm for 8.00pm.

There will be reports from the evangelists and the guest speaker is Ian Rees from Salway Evangelical Church, Woodford Green.

Please try and get to the meeting to encourage Andy and Rachel and the other Counties Evangelists

Maldon Food Pantry  We have received a  letter from the Maldon Food Pantry thanking us for the gifts from the Harvest Service. They thank everyone for their kindness and love.

Just to remind you that there is a box in the entrance hall if you wish to put in gifts for the food pantry.  Below is the kind of food required.

  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned meat
  • Cereal
  • Sugar
  • Tinned tuna
  • Jam
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Long life milk

Home Groups Shirley’s group will be meeting at Shirley’s new home in Fambridge Road. The Wednesday group will be meeting at Rachel and Andy’s. Anne and Philip’s group – please contact your house group leaders for details. The Friday group will be meeting at Lucy and Paul’s.
Children’s groups

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+  Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
