 Home Group venues

Shirley’s group will meet at Richard and Sheila’s.

Philip and Anne’s group will meet at Gavin and Kate’s.

Wednesday group – please contact your house group leader.

Friday group will meet at Ken and Ellen’s.

Harvest Service – Sunday 2nd October During this service you will have the opportunity to donate food for our local food bank. Anything donated should be non-perishable items. Thank you.

After the harvest service there will be a hunger lunch on offer at no cost which will include soup and fruit. If you would like to make a donation for this meal the money raised will be sent to World Vision. £20 raised will buy school dinners for 45 children and £18 raised would enable World Vision to purchase chickens for a family to raise for eggs to eat and sell. What a wonderful thought when sharing our hunger lunch together.

Alpha type course We already have interest for attending an evening course that looks at what the Christian faith is about. We aim to start a group later this month. Would you like to come? Do you know someone who would benefit from coming? The course will run for seven sessions. Please speak to Andy or Rachel.

Children’s groups

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+ Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.

If you wish to use the church at any time please contact Valerie Lamb.

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.
