A Prayer meeting is held every Sunday morning before the service in the upstairs youth room.  Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.

Sunday morning prayer rota  If you would like someone to pray with you after the service please have a word with one of the church Elders.

Tea and Coffee rota  Rob Bennett and Rob Lamb are responsible for teas and coffees this week.  Next week it will be Phil Rowden and Peter Lamb.

Magazine Rack there is a new issue of Open Doors and Interact (SGM Lifewords) in the rack.

Phil and Doreen and Doreen Blowers would appreciate your prayers as they lead the worship at Maldon Baptist Church today.

 Home Groups  The evening home groups will be combining and meeting at the church for prayer and communion.  Please join us if possible as there are many things to pray about at the moment.

The Friday Group will meet at Beryl’s for coffee (no study).

Alpha-type course    We already have interest for attending an evening course that looks at what the Christian faith is about.  We aim to start a group later this month.  Would you like to come?  Do you know someone who would benefit from coming?  The course will run for seven sessions.  Please speak to Andy or Rachel.

Men’s outreach review-planning meeting: Tuesday 6 September:  7:45 at 18 Norfolk Close. Following on from the events this year we are meeting to review and plan further events.  Please join us with your ideas.

Children’s groups

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+  Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.
