Welcome to this morning’s Service The service leader today is Terry Frost and the speaker is Philip Reeve. Please join us for tea and coffee in the back hall after the service.

A Prayer meeting is held every Sunday morning before the service in the upstairs youth room. Everyone is invited to join us especially if you are involved in the service or with the children’s groups.

Sunday morning prayer rota If you would like someone to pray with you after the service please have a word with one of the church Elders.

Tea and Coffee rota Ann Frost and Sheila Little are responsible for teas and coffees this week. Next week it will be Carolyn Hammond and Gavin Fuller. 

Phil and Doreen Blowers would appreciate your prayers as they take the service at Gt Baddow URC today.

Home Groups  

Evening home group – venue to be confirmed.

The Friday group will be meeting at Paul and Lucy’s. 

Home group questions For the next few weeks Matt Springett will be setting the questions and they will be emailed to people when the notices are sent out. For those people who do not have access to email, they will be included with the printed copies on Sunday morning.

 Shirley Murphy is moving house and has a breadmaker, coffee maker, armchair and sandwich maker which are free to a good home. If you can make use of any of these items please contact Shirley to arrange collection. 

Suffolk Christian Family Camp

Family Camp is taking take place in the grounds of Sizewell Hall in Suffolk from Saturday 20-27th August.  

Please pray for

• The adult speaker Bob Telford and for the leaders, Tony and Ruth Hood and Rachel and Andy. For Jon and Laura Mitson, Nicola Robson, and Lydia Mugford who will be leading the children’s groups.

• Please pray for good weather, for safety and for the spiritual aspect of the camp. 

Please continue to pray for those people with ongoing health problems.  

August missionary offering an amount of £650 has been sent to Counties National Office.

Children’s groups

For the summer months Mustard, Mustard+ and Pepper will meet in the downstairs back hall for a joint session.

Mustard is an Early Years group.

Pepper and Mustard+ are our Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age.

Salt is a group for School Years 7 to 11 that meets upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.
