Sunday morning prayer meeting A prayer meeting, to which all are invited, is held at 10:10 am. Do join us in the Youth room upstairs as we prepare for the service in this very important way.

Coffee rota Phil Rowden and Gavin Fuller are responsible for tea and coffee this morning and next week it will be Peter Lamb and Ann Frost.

Prayer If you would like prayer after the service Andy and Rachel will be available.

CAMEO meets tomorrow afternoon at 2.00 for a quiz. If you are free in the afternoon please join us for a quiz and a cuppa. It’s a very informal time with a lot of laughter.

Ladies Bible Study – Tuesday morning at 10.30 – 12.00 at Claire Springett’s home.

Men’s Curry Night, 15 March:  Please confirm names to Andrew as seats are limited in number.  Please take a flier if you haven’t yet received one.

The February Missionary Offering for Echoes and Scripture Union February amounted to £550 this will be added to an amount of £400 which will be sent to each organisation.

Doreen and Phil Blowers would be grateful for your prayers as they take the service at Maldon Baptist Church today.

Also Andy Mugford would be grateful for your prayers as he takes the service at BREC.

Lucy and Paul are planning to go to the service if anyone else would like a lift please contact Lucy or Paul.

Job Club  starts this Tuesday –  23rd February.    A rota of tea-coffee refreshment-makers is in place but still has some gaps. Can you help once a month (in term time) from 10:30-12?  If so, please have a word with Rachel or Andrew.

Please pray for referrals – we want to start the course on the 23rd and we need more course members.  If you know someone who is unemployed and would appreciate some support in applying for jobs, then Job Club is for them – fliers are available from the church entrance.  Please take one and pass it on.

Thank-you to those who have signed up as prayer partners and have committed to pray during a half-hour slot each week on the Tuesday.  Prayer points will be provided! If you are willing to help with this, please speak to Andrew.

NOTICES If you have any notices for the next five Sundays from 28th February to 27th March please email them to Michael Chambers as he will be doing the notices while I am away.

Also, if you wish to book the church during those weeks please contact Val Lamb as she will be looking after the diary during that time.

If you require heat on at the church for an event such as music practice etc please contact Richard Reynolds. If you have any urgent prayer requests for the church from 28th Feb to 27th March, please let the house group leaders or elders know and ask them to forward it to their house groups. The house group leaders and elders are Philip and Anne Reeve/Michael Chambers, Shirley Murphy/Simon and Matt, the Wednesday group Andy Mugford, Friday group Valerie and Peter Lamb/Paul Gymer. Vinjeru School – A date for your diary. On Sunday 13th March Martin and Karolyn Simbeye and family from Vinjeru School will be with us and there will be a short report from Martin in the morning service and a fuller report in the afternoon from 4-6pm which will also include a bring and share tea. Martin and Karolyn are having problems getting a passport for their youngest child. Please pray that this will be sorted out quickly as they are due to fly to the UK at the end of this week.

Fellowship meeting 8th May followed by tea.

Sunday June 19th  A “whole church” day at Othona, beside St Peter’s on the Wall, Bradwell.

Weekend away at home 14th-16th October. Further details to follow.

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.

Sunday morning children’s activities

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities.

We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, who meet upstairs.

Pepper and Mustard+  Infant and Junior groups, for up to secondary school age, who meet downstairs in the back hall.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
