Laptops for a “Christians Against Poverty” Job Club Andy Mugord is in the process of setting up a Job Club which will be run at Fullbridge starting February-time 2016.  It includes a course of 8 sessions which is designed to support vulnerable unemployed people from our local community in order to prepare them for employment.  The link gives a flavour of the Job Club initiative that we will be following at Fullbridge: https://capuk.org/i-want-help/cap-job-clubs/introduction.  CAP is a national Christian charity that is recognised by the Department for Work and Pensions and also by Job Centres for its work with those facing employment and financial difficulties.  Referrals are made from the latter to Job Clubs around the country. Andy has also had a very positive conversation with Moat Housing locally who will also be publicising our Job Club in the New Year.

As part of the programme, there will be the opportunity for members to prepare a CV and research job offers on the internet.  For this Andy needs some laptops, not high spec, but ones that can run Word or its equivalent and an internet browser.  They will remain at church.   If you or your company/friends have redundant laptops , or will have after Christmas and would be willing to donate them to the Job Club, he would be very grateful.  If you require further information please contact Andy Mugford.

Monday 7th December 7.30 We will be singing carols again this year with the people at Embassy Court. We have a great time and if you would like to join us, you don’t have to be a great singer, please let Rachel Mugford know.
