Welcome to this morning’s service our speaker today is Peter Grinham and the service leader is Ross Power. Tea and coffee will be served in the back hall after the service

 A prayer meeting, to which everyone is invited, is held every Sunday morning from approx 10.00 am -10.15 am in the upstairs room. We would encourage all who are taking part in the service and youth activities to attend.

Coffee rota Julian and Carolyn are responsible for teas and coffees today. Next week it will be Gavin Fuller and Ann Frost.

Prayer If you would like prayer after the service Anne and Philip Reeve will be available.

Prayer for Sizewell Camp

Sizewell Family Camp runs from 22nd – 29th August.

Various members from Fullbridge will be going to this camp and Rachel and Andy will be helping to lead the week.

The August Missionary Offering for Counties/Essex Regional Support Group amounted to £625 .

 Home Groups

All the evening home groups will be combining for the month of August and this week we will be meeting on Thursday 20th August at Hannah Henderson’s home.

The Friday group will be meeting at John and Janet’s.

Romans 1: 8-17 The Power of God for Salvation

  1. What is meant by the “Gospel” and “Salvation”?

2.What barriers did Gentiles and Jews have to overcome to be together as brothers in Christ and what similar situations do we face today?

3.How should we pray for others?

Garden Party in aid of Vinjeru School on Wed 19th August, at 18 Norfolk Close from 2.30-4.30 pm. Tea and cakes will be served. The bric a brac stall will now be a bring and buy stall so that people can bring items on the day. If you have any queries please contact Rachel.

Women’s Quiet Day 3rd October Stanway Evangelical Church Colchester C03 OPU, 9.00 for 10.00 am start and finishing at 4.00 pm. The cost is £12 and includes tea and coffee and lunch. See notice on the board in the back hall for further details and application form.

On Sunday 6th September there will be a bring and share lunch after the family service.

On Thursday 10th September there will be combined prayer meeting and communion at the church.

Mustard and Pepper arrangements for the summer

During the school summer holidays Pepper & Mustard will meet for a combined session in the back hall, except for Family Services when we will all stay together.

An evening with Stuart Townend at Danbury Mission on 11th October at 7.pm. Tickets cost £10 (under 18s £5) and will go on sale at the beginning of September. For further information ring 01245 227428 or visit the Danbury Mission website.

Maldon Food Bank If you would like to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.

 If you wish to use the church at any time please check with the deacons first to make sure this is ok and then contact Sheila Little to book the date.

 If you borrow anything from the church please make a note on the list in the back hall and also note when it is returned.
