A prayer meeting, to which everyone is invited, is held every Sunday morning from approx 10.00 am -10.15 am in the upstairs room. We would encourage all who are taking part in the service and youth activities to attend.

Security Rota   Richard Little is responsible for locking up today.

Church Weekend Away – Last week’s weekend away was very enjoyable.   The weather was great. We had a shower of rain while we were having our service on Sunday morning but this had cleared up by the time we finished. Fortunately most people had taken their tents down before it started to rain. There were some very competitive games on Saturday afternoon! Especially a hockey game which Peter managed to keep under control. The teams didn’t appear to understand it was a “friendly” and not the Olympics!  The children, big and small, enjoyed the bouncy castle. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who contributed to the success of the weekend and especially to Val, Julian and Hannah Mugford and to Andy and Michael for their “thoughts for the day”.  Jean Marc – When Helen and Michael visited on Thursday he looked well, despite the circumstances, and he was alert but not able to speak. His sense of humour is still intact though. Please continue to pray for Jean-Marc’s recovery and for his family. Also for the situation at Calais as this is causing Jean-Marc’s sister problems when she tries to get to England to see her brother.

Magazine Rack There is a new issue of the Open Doors magazine in the rack.

Terry Frost and Maldon Market – As you may have seen from the local paper the Market, and Terry, have been given a year’s reprieve.
