“From Monday 2nd of February to Friday 5th, Leicester University Christian Union are hosting, in partnership with the local churches and the Christian Union at

De Montfort University, a set of events to look at the claims made by the Christian faith. Our previous events over the last year have been well attend with over 300 guests at our Bonfire in November.

Over the next week we have a range of events, from acoustic cafes, to a ‘Dial – A – Doughnut’ night, to lunchbars every day (A free lunch with a short talk) on topics like; ‘Convinced Science has buried God?’ and ‘Convinced the Bible is untrue?’. Also, we have a testimony evening from Brad Thorn (2011 Rugby world cup winner and Premiership Rugby player). It looks like a good week ahead, but we would appreciate your prayers for us, as a mission team on our campus, as God builds his kingdom here among us. Many thanks in advance, Jack Chambers.

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities. We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, downstairs in the Back Hall.

Pepper: a Junior group, for up to secondary school age, upstairs in the Green Room.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
