Welcome to this morning’s service Today’s speaker is Rob Bennett and Ross Power will be leading the service. There will be tea and coffee in the back hall after the service.

Fellowship lunch There will be no fellowship lunch next Sunday. Tea and coffee will be served after the service.

A prayer meeting, to which everyone is invited, is held every Sunday morning from approx 10.00 am -10.15 am in the upstairs room. We would encourage all who are taking part in the service and youth activities to attend.

Service at Longfields If you are free this afternoon please join us for the short service at Longfields at 4.00pm.

Magazine Rack There is a new edition of Barnabas Aid in the magazine rack.

Nicola Brown There is a letter from Nicola on the notice board in the back hall.

Prayer Andy and Rachel Mugford will be available if you would like someone to pray with you after the service.

Dates for your diary

• 10th January Rachel and Andy’s commendation service.
• 8th January – new house groups begin (there is no combined prayer meeting at the church on the 8th January).
• Week of prayer at the church from 12th – 16th January 8.00-9.00pm
• 25th January 5.00 pm report from Simon and Judy with tea afterwards.

Home Groups
There will be no Thursday home groups this week.
The Friday group will be meeting at Beryl’s home.

Christian Holiday handbook – There are copies of the free Christian holiday handbook in the entrance hall. Please take a copy. They give details of guest houses, hotels, bed and breakfast accommodation etc both in the UK and abroad.

If you wish to use the Church at any time, please check with one of the Deacons to make sure it is ok. Please then contact Sheila Little to check availability in the diary.

Notices If you have any items for the notices please let Sheila Little have them by Friday lunchtime. If you are emailing please put the subject as “notices” as this makes it easier for me to pick them out.

Maldon Food Bank If you wish to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of non-perishable food.

Children and Young People’s Groups on Sunday mornings.
On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities. We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, with crèche, downstairs in the Back Hall.
Pepper: a Junior group, for up to secondary school age, upstairs in the Green Room.
Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.
