Welcome to this morning’s service Our speaker today is Paul Gymer and the service leader is Matthew Springett. Tea and coffee will be served in the back hall after the service.
A prayer meeting, to which everyone is invited, is held every Sunday morning from approx 10.00 am -10.15 am in the upstairs room. We would encourage all who are taking part in the service and youth activities to attend.

Coffee Rota In order to continue serving coffee after the service we still need extra helpers. Thank you to the two people who have volunteered following my email last week.
Advanced notice There will be a week of prayer at the church from 12th – 16th January at 8.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Please make a note of this in your diary so that you are not double booked and able to make as many of the prayer meetings as possible as it is important that we pray for the needs and future of Fullbridge.
Also the new home groups will commence from Thursday 8th January (or whichever day your group decides to meet). As we are having a week of prayer the following week there will be no combined prayer meeting at the church on the 8th January.

Home-group questions (John 14):
1.What sort of peace does Jesus promise in v.27?
2.In what sense is ‘you will believe’ in v.29 future?
What did Jesus mean by ‘greater works’ in v.12?
3.Is v.13-14 a blank cheque?
The first statement in v.1 is repeated in v.27. In both cases ‘your’ is plural (as opposed to ‘thy’) but ‘heart’ is singular (NIV is wrong). How do you explain this?
Carol singing at Embassy Court: Please join us tomorrow evening (15th December) 7.30 pm at Embassy Court to sing carols. There will be a cuppa and mincepies afterwards.
Alternative Christmas card Don’t forget to sign the card and put your donation in the pot.
Christmas Carol Service – Sunday 21st December – Let Ann Frost know if you can provide some sausage rolls and mincepies.
Tuesday 16th December Afternoon tea and Christmas Celebration If you or any neighbours or friends are free on Tuesday afternoon at 3.00 pm we would love you to join us for carols and afternoon tea.
Andy and Rachel On Saturday 10th January at 3.00 we will be holding a commendation service, followed by tea, for Rachel and Andy as they start a new stage in their Christian lives with Counties and Fullbridge. Please put this date in your diary and let Andy and Rachel know if you are planning to be there.
Saving Postage stamps Ordinary British second and first class stamps are valuable to charities. At this time of year we receive more personal postage, so please remember to cut round the stamp or collection of stamps, on any letters you receive, about half an inch from the stamp. Do not damage the serration round the edge of the stamp or it is worthless. Do not soak the stamp off its backing. They are eventually collected in a sack so the stamps need protection. If you want to pass them on in the New Year, please give them to John Weavers or Beryl. It is a way of giving to missionaries by just a small effort! Thank you. The Leprosy Mission sale is in February.
Maldon Food Bank If you wish to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of food. Items suitable for Christmas hampers are also required. The last delivery of items from Fullbridge before Christmas will be taken on Wednesday 17th; if you want to add anything after today, please either take it to Paul & Lucy’s by Tuesday night or take it directly to Elim on Wednesday morning.
