Welcome to this morning’s family service and baptism The service leader is Michael Chambers and we welcome Andy Jelfs as our speaker. Tea and coffee will be served in the back hall before the service.

After the service, there is a fellowship lunch to which everyone is invited. Shirley’s group and those who are able from the Friday group are responsible for setting up and clearing away today.

A prayer meeting, to which everyone is invited, is held every Sunday morning from approx 10.00 am -10.15 am in the upstairs room. We would encourage all who are taking part in the service and youth activities to attend.

 Prayer If you would like someone to pray with you after the service Paul Gymer and Barbara Diaper will be available.

Security Rota Shirley’s group and the Friday group are responsible for locking up today and next week Richard Little will be responsible.

Next Sunday during the morning service Ross and Bertie will be giving a short report on their visit to Zambia and, in the afternoon from 4.30, they will be giving a fuller report and there will be cake and a cuppa afterwards.

Don’t forget our get together this Wednesday 7th May, 7.30pm at the Church. An opportunity to pray, share, encourage and make plans!

Women for Christ are holding their Summer Conference at Sizewell Hall from the 4th to 6th July. Rachel Bell and Heather Brain will be the speakers. If you are interested there are some application forms on the notice board in the back hall.

Chairs Help is still needed to set out the chairs on Sunday mornings. If you would like to go on the rota please have a word with Julian Gore or Richard Reynolds.

Next Thursday, 7th May , we are recommencing the combined communion and prayer meeting at the church. Please come along and join in prayer for the needs of Fullbridge and the wider world.

Phil Rowden would appreciate help next Saturday from 9am to move his remaining things to Danbury and help tidy up as he moves out of his house. Help during the week would also be great – please phone him to arrange a convenient time.

Risk AssessmentsPlease remember that if you organise an event that is linked to the Fellowship a risk assessment form must be completed. Please see one of the deacons if you require a form and they will also be happy to help you complete it.

Weekend Away 27th – 29th JuneDon’t forget the church weekend away. There is now a list on the white board in the back hall for you to put your names on if you plan to be at the weekend away.  Also, if you have a spare tent which you do not mind someone else using, please let Val Lamb know. Cakes and biscuits are required for the weekend. Please speak to Val if you can provide some. If you are not able to attend the whole weekend you will be very welcome to pop up to Red House Farm for the day.

Single bed mattress.  From mid June, Sarah Hammond has a single bed mattress which is in a good clean condition and very comfortable. It is free to a good home. Please have a word with Sarah if you are interested.

Children and Young People’s Groups on Sunday mornings.

On the first Sunday of the month we all stay together in Church. On the remaining Sundays the children join the first part of the service, then go to separate parts of the building for their activities. We have three groups:

Mustard: an Early Years group, with crèche, downstairs in                   the Back Hall.

Pepper: a Junior group, for up to secondary school age, upstairs in the Green Room.

Salt: a group for School Years 7 to 11, upstairs in the Youth Room on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month.

Maldon Food Bank If you wish to contribute there is a box in the entrance hall for donations of food.
