Home Group questions Read John 4 vs 43-54 1. What was the basis of the Galileans’ welcome of Jesus and how did this differ from the Samaritans’ in v’s 39-42? 2. In the light of the Lord’s words in v 48 should we be seeking signs and wonders today and for what reason? 3.Have you ever had a challenge, like the Official, to trust in Jesus and which you are willing to share with the group? How did it help in your walk with the Lord? 4.In v 49 the Official prayed, what would be a better way to pray? (This question is not meant to be a criticism of the Official).

Charlene and Iain’s wedding There is an open invitation to everyone from Val and Peter Lamb to join them at the marriage ceremony of their daughter Charlene Lamb to Iain Crosher. The service will be at the United Reformed Church in Maldon on Saturday 26th April at 1.30pm and you are also warmly invited to stay for drinks and cakes afterwards.

ALPHA A new Alpha Course will be commencing on Wednesday 23rd April. If you know of anyone who would be interested in this please have a word with Andy and Rachel Mugford.

Congratulations to Simon and Judy on the birth of their first grandchild Olivia Christabel Quelch who was born on Sunday 16th March.

VOLUNTEERS STILL WANTED to help with the tea and coffee rota. The number of volunteers has dropped so low that it is possible that on some Sundays it may not be possible to offer tea and coffee. Therefore more volunteers are urgently needed. If you are happy to go on to the rota once a quarter this would help. This is an opportunity to serve your fellow Christians and everyone is welcome to join this elite team. Please speak to Ann Frost if you are interested in helping.
