Home group questions – Philippians 4:10-23
1. Paul’s teaching made a huge impact on the new Christians in Philippi and they showed an almost instant response to being challenged. When was the last time you responded to a challenge/need in the business of your life?
2. Paul says in verse 12 that he has learnt to be content in any and every circumstance, whether in plenty or in want. Have you lived more years in plenty than you have in want, and if so, how does this challenge you to respond to needs?
3. If we are to become more like Paul, how can we become so reliant on God’s strength that we can be content whatever the circumstances?
4. In Acts 2:42-47 and again in 4:32-35, the early Church sounded much like the believers’ attitude to generosity. How can we as a Church in Fulbridge or Chelmsford or the UK become more like this, and what stops us from becoming like this?
