Following their success with the bags they made for the Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas Child, they were able to purchase over £110 worth of hygiene items for the shoe boxes from the sale of their sewing projects. Their next project will be to make dresses for little girls in Africa. They would really appreciate any cotton fabric including any suitable old duvet covers & sheets (in good condition) and any haberdashery items (cottons, ribbons, bias binding, lace etc). They are aiming to make these dresses without any cost but from donations of the necessary materials. They would be very grateful for anything you can let them have and Sarah Hammond can collect the items if necessary. Thank you.
