1.. Why do you think we are we told that Isaiah’s vision in chapter 6 was in the year that King Uzziah died? (see also 2 Chronicles ch.26)
2. Was Isaiah’s reaction in 6.5 just the result of his vision of God, or did the sight of the seraphs also play a role? Why does Isaiah call himself ‘a man of unclean lips’ in 6.5 (as opposed to unclean deeds)?
3. What was the purpose and result of Isaiah’s commission in 6.1-13? Are we surprised that the people did not respond positively?
